Soyez des nôtres pour une soirée spéciale célébrant les 25 ans de la première pièce de Porte Parole, Novembre.
𝙌𝙪'𝙚𝙨𝙩-𝙘𝙚 𝙦𝙪𝙚 𝙡𝙖 𝙙𝙚́𝙢𝙤𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙚 𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚 𝙥𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙌𝙪𝙚́𝙗𝙚́𝙘𝙤𝙞𝙨?
En 1998, cette question a propulsé Annabel Soutar et Alex Ivanovici sur les routes du Québec en pleine campagne électorale. Leurs entrevues avec des citoyens de toutes les régions sont devenues Novembre, la pièce fondatrice de Porte Parole.
Cette année, nous avons demandé à deux jeunes artistes, Aude Seppey et Marc-Antoine Morin, de reprendre le flambeau pour explorer l’état actuel de la démocratie québécoise et voir ce qui a changé, ou non, depuis un quart de siècle.
Le 9 février, les deux générations se retrouveront pour une conversation entre les voix d'hier et celles d'aujourd'hui.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬?
In 1998, this question sent Annabel Soutar and Alex Ivanovici on the road across Quebec during the provincial election. Their interviews with citizens from every corner of the province became Novembre, Porte Parole's first play.
This year, we've asked two young artists, Aude Seppey and Marc-Antoine Morin, to pick up where they left off, and to explore the current state of Quebec democracy and find what has changed, or not, over the past quarter century.
On February 9, they will come together for a conversation between two generations, as we celebrate the 25 years of the play.
