The next meet up is on the second Sunday (10th) in November to coinside with the garden being open as part of the Edible Garden Trail. The working bee will be held at the ususal time (9am-12pm) and then a few members will stay on until 3pm welcoming visitors as part of the Edible Garden Trail.
EDIBLE GARDEN TRAIL
Our garden will be open as part of the Illawarra Edible Garden Trail along with 30+ other edible gardens between Helensburgh and Dapto. If you're looking for ideas on planting out some veggies and herbs then grab your tickets!
When: 9/10th November, 10am-3pm
Where: Helensburgh - Windang / Dapto
What: 30+ edible gardens of all shapes, sizes and ages, showing off a variety of:
• veggie patches and fruit trees
• composting and worm farm techniques
• spray-free, no dig beds and permaculture principles
• bee hives and chicken coops
• edible flowers and local native bush foods
along with much more!
