About this Event
Volunteers will work with garden staff and community members to install native plants in woodland areas cleared of non-natives.
Perks of volunteering include access to the garden and our incredible stock of powerful plant allies, refreshing beverages made fresh, plant and knowledge shares, and community!
We have plenty of tools onsite, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer to work with them (a shovel, bucket, a hand digging tool, gloves, pruning shears, kneeling pad or stool if you use them).
**Remember: This event takes place outside. Be sure to dress for the weather and the possibility of encountering insects and skin-irritating plants.**
Potted seedlings and divisions are available for donation at all our public events, as well as seeds and printed or recorded publications from Jim and Peggy Duke and others.
