Please join us for the November VMC Club. We’ll meet on Thursday, November 13th at 7:00 pm at Morey Airplane Company (Middleton Airport).We'll start the evening with discussion around our Question of the Month. This month's question is:
“If a modification to an aircraft has been made by a supplemental type certificate (STC), what required paperwork must be carried aboard the aircraft to document airworthiness? For example, you’re renting a Cessna 172 that has been modified with an 180-hp engine, or perhaps to use automotive fuel. What, if any, additional documentation is needed to document that the aircraft is airworthy?”
After discussing this question, we'll watch a short flight scenario video and discuss how we would approach the situation. This is always good discussion as we learn from each other's experiences and share our aviation knowledge.
This month's video scenario is titled "Night Emergency Practice". We’ll be flying a Piper PA-28 Archer out of Chester, CT (SNC). This month’s scenario is not too complicated but it will give us a chance to discuss night flight as we get into the shorter daylight days of the Wisconsin winter. Let’s answer the regular question – “what would you do?”
