Come along to Foxglove on Friday November 14th 7.30-9pm for a soothing, restorative sound bath.
Leave filled with suaimhneas: ease, tranquility, peace...and ready to enjoy a deep night's sleep, and taking that sense of calm with you for the weekend.
Relax, let go of the week, and be immersed in healing sounds of crystal bowls, chimes, gongs, handpan, Himalayan bowls, drum, tingsha, rainstick and more.
The sound journey is a meditative experience incorporating pranayama (breathwork), yoga nidra (a guided body scan) and seasonal poetry. A cuppa and nourishing homemade snacks are available at the end. Chat and connect with like-minded people or leave quietly, as it suits you.
The vibrations from the instruments are not just heard through the ears, but resonate with the whole body, balancing, relaxing and relieving stress and tension. Be open to the experience and let it be as it is.
Foxglove Sound and Yoga is on a peaceful two acre setting in Knocklishen Beg, on the Wicklow-Carlow border.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or camping mat to place on top on one provided. I also have extra mats available. Bring whatever you need to make a cosy nest: blanket, pillows/cushions to support head, lower back and knees.
