Play Around Club continues in-person gatherings!!As many of you are aware, Pratidhwani's Drama wing meets periodically to read a play. This is not a performance. It is an opportunity for actors (and other theatre enthusiasts) to meet, read a play and discuss it.
We've read brand new plays, and well established plays. We've talked about strengths and weaknesses of characters, plots, story lines and anything else that comes to mind.
Our Nov 2024 edition will feature Deepika Guha's 'Yoga Play'. You'll recall we workshopped Guha's 'In Branau' as part of Represent! 2019.
We'll discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the play, the plot, the characters, and as always discuss if Pratidhwani could produce it here in the Seattle area in the future. Actors/readers and listeners are all invited!
