If you are looking for a laid back place to meet new friends, share your love of spoken word, or just listen to some great poetry - please join us!Reading of original poetry, favorite poems, short stories, freestyle raps, etc. are all welcome. Please keep your reading time under 10 minutes (you can hop back on once everyone has shared!)
Poetry readings take place in the kid's room and the sign-up sheet will be available roughly 30 minutes ahead of time. We will have a small seating area (8 or so chairs) set up for readers and listeners, but you are also welcome to mill about the shop while listening to the readings. Be sure to check out our poetry shelf! All poetry will be 20% off on open mic days from 3pm-5pm. :)
This event is free and open to all ages, but please note some poems may not be suitable for all ages. Please use your best judgement as a guardian.
