About this Event
Super Session is a 3-hour burst of group meditation practice! (Plus lunch!)
It's a great way to get a taste of retreat-style practice during everyday life. You'll be surprised at how quickly the time passes and how deep you can go.
If you ever wish you meditated more, take this opportunity to rise to your aspirations with a supportive, non-judgmental crowd!
TIMING:
Doors open at 9:30 AM. Please join us before 9:50 AM. We start at 10 AM sharp.
It's totally fine to leave early - just try to do so quietly.
FORMAT
We do 45 minutes of sitting meditation and 15 minutes of walking meditation, back and forth, for the three hours. We keep silent during that time.
A bell will mark the session changes. You're welcome to ignore it and sit through the walking periods.
You can also take breaks at any point.
Then, for anyone who wants to, we grab lunch at a nearby restaurant.
WHAT TO BRING
We'll have a few meditation cushions, though we'll probably run out, as well as a decent amount of couch space. If you have a cushion, it's a good idea to bring it.
WILL THERE BE INSTRUCTION?
Nope! But you're welcome to listen to the guided meditation(s) of your choice (using your own phone and headphones).
