About this Event
Welcome to the 4th annual "Don't shoot guns shoot hoops" 5 on 5 basketball tournament. The Biggest tournament in minneapolis. This event main focus is to bring the community together around gun violence! in 2021 our first epic event sold out! 16 teams 160 players .This will be the biggest 2 day tournament in the city of Minneapolis! You don't want to miss this! This is a family friendly event so bring the entire family.
This year we are adding a middle school 1 on 1 tournment !
The 1st 32 6 - 8 graders to sign up to compete
Each team can have up to 10 players.
Cost: $200 per team or $20 a player
General admission : $20 or $30 Weekend Package ( 23th & 24th)
3 point contest & Dunk contest Sign up at the tournament event!
Games will be 30 mins 2-15 min halves
Saturday November 23rd 2024
Round 1: sweetsixteen 16 games Start at 12:00pm
Round 2: elite 8 2:00pm
Middle school 1 on 1 tournament 3:00
Sunday November 24th 2024
Middle school 1 on 1 tournament 11am
Dunk contest & 3point contest Noon
final four1:00pm
Championship game : 1:45pm
