About this Event
Join us in Memphis or online for our monthly Life Science Venture Program education series — November's session will cover integrating regulatory strategy into early product development. The session will be led by Rick Gaykowski (Head of Regulatory Affairs at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital) and Jennifer Hoglin (Head of Marketing & Industry Engagement at St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital).
A strong regulatory strategy is essential to translating scientific innovation into real-world impact. This session will explore how early integration of regulatory considerations—from quality systems and compliance to clinical and market planning—can shape product development decisions and accelerate time to market. Speakers will discuss how regulatory strategy serves as a guiding framework for cross-functional collaboration, influencing areas such as R&D, marketing, and finance. Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how proactive engagement with regulatory pathways not only mitigates risk but also strengthens the foundation for long-term commercial success.
We will send an email shortly before the event with parking instructions for those joining us in person, and a Zoom link for those joining virtually.
In person attendees are invited to join us afterward for a Beer & Biotech nearby (location TBA). Stop by to grab a complimentary drink and network with researchers, postdocs, students, West Tennessee life science companies, and entrepreneurs. Please register here.
