November fun!--Viking Style! Come experience our LARPing event, all centered around Viking invasions of the 10th century!
About this Event

Discover the thrill and adventure of our Live Action Role Playing event based on medieval fantasy but featuring medieval history, specifically the Viking Invasions of the 9th centry and King Arthur legends. Our event is perfect for kids aged 11-17 who are looking for an exciting journey as they search for relics to help defeat Narag, the viscoius Northamn Invader. Along the way, they will be challenged by various monsters who seek to rule the lands of Apre.

This fun afternoon of Live Action Role Playing is where we take a storyline based on medieval fantasy and act it out. We also incorporate the Bible, medieval history, drama, and creative writing. When we have time, we have fun doing acting games and an acting skit, if time permits.

Here's this month's storyline synopsis:

The sacred Island of Ané holds the Spear of DaLanvae, a legendary relic with the power to change the fate of the world. The island, protected by mystical creatures and powerful forces, has been untouched for centuries—until now. Narag, the ruthless leader of the Northmen, has learned of the Spear’s power and plans to invade Ané and seize it for himself.

Guided by a divine vision from the Holy Dove, Queen Amaterien and her loyal defenders must journey to the island first, navigating treacherous obstacles and mystical creatures to reach the Spear of DaLanvae hidden within the sacred waters of Lake Alaskia. Along the way, they will face fierce challenges, including battles with Narag’s forces and encounters with the mighty Guardians of Ané.

Will Queen Amaterien and her team reach the Spear before the Northmen do? Will they stand firm in faith and courage to protect the Spear’s divine power and save the island? Join us to find out in this epic quest where standing your ground could mean the difference between victory and defeat.

Prepare for battle, solve puzzles, and take on mystical challenges in this immersive LARP adventure. Whether you're a seasoned role-player or a newcomer, this event offers fun for ages 11-17 and all skill levels.

Costumes more than welcome and encouraged! We have extra LARPing swords at the event that can be borrowed or purchased.

Not a member? We'd love to have you! Non-members can attend for free. You just have to use one of our pre-made characters (NPCs).

At our events, we have a fun store like Awanas. We give out "coins" and you can spend it in our store!

And please bring snacks to share as well as your own water bottle. We do have a student allergic to eggs, peanuts, and dairy, so please keep that in mind.

Our yard may still have some snow on it (who knows!) so be prepared!
