Cleveland County Soil and Water Conservation is offering a conservation science series for Cleveland County homeschool students in grades (K- 6). Programs are free of charge and will be held monthly from October-May at Hanna Park in Shelby from 10 to 11 am.November 6, 2024 Session
o Habitat and Adaptations - The populations of different animals in a habitat can be a delicate balance. Students will explore deer populations and practice survey methods. This activity emphasizes the most essential things that animals need to survive.
Please note that a Parent/Guardian needs to be present for the entire program. The program is outside, so please be prepared for the weather.
Prior sign-up is required so that we know what materials are needed. You will need to sign up to each program in the series that you are interested in. Program will be limited to the first 20 students. We will start a wait list after that.
