Join us on November 7 at noon at the Sons of Norway to hear from Amy Jacobson, executive director of Prairie Action ND, who will be speaking on "Amplifying Voices. Advancing Justice. Building a Better North Dakota."
Attendees will learn how Prairie Action ND programs like Amplify, SASS, The Hub, and Megaphone connect and equip North Dakotans who share common values to collaborate, tell their stories, and take meaningful action.

Lunch is available through the Sons of Norway starting at 11am. The event is free and open to the public. We hope you'll join us!

ABOUT OUR NOVEMBER SPEAKER:
Amy is the executive director of Prairie Action ND, where she creates and executes high-impact communications strategies that drive progressive change in our state. Amy’s background in issue-based communications work is rooted in state-level advocacy campaigns. Over the course of her 25-year career, she has focused on public policies that impact equality and equity in North Dakota, including access to affordable housing, child care, health care, reproductive rights, and human rights.

ABOUT FIRST FRIDAYS
The League of Women Voters of the Red River Valley hosts a monthly speaker event (September-May) at noon at the Sons of Norway in Fargo. First Fridays is open to the public and features local experts and leaders speaking on issues impacting our community.
