First Friday Pop Up Art Market
ArtsQuest will host local artists to our First Friday Pop Up Art Markets in connection with Southside Arts District’s First Friday events throughout the year. This is an opportunity for local artists to showcase to new audiences and sell their work during these community events. Different artists will be featured each month the market is hosted, stop by each month to check out something new!

Audrey Maurer
I’m Audrey and I love living in the Lehigh Valley and have lived here for almost my whole life. After I retired from a career in IT, I took classes and learned how to create mosaics with glass and found it so much fun. When I discovered creating jewelry with glass, it was amazing, and it awoke in me a different type of creativity! Making jewelry gives me great joy and satisfaction, especially finding new color combinations and creating new designs. I love the beauty of glass and the infinite range of colors and types. About 2 years ago, I discovered dichroic glass and have been using it ever since. Dichroic glass contains 1 or more layers of metallic oxides which when fired in a kiln change color and create gorgeous iridescent designs.
Karen Rauppius
Karen Rauppius is an illustrator, printmaker, graphic designer, and digital artist based in Allentown, PA. She is passionate about capturing the beauty of living things and creating energy in line and color. She works across linocut, screenprint, watercolor, ink, and digital painting. FountainWood Studio is the name of Karen’s printmaking practice, featuring handmade block prints. Karen draws each design, carves it into linoleum blocks, and prints every piece by hand using traditional techniques. Her work blends intricate detail with bold, expressive lines, celebrating wildlife, plants, and the textures of everyday life.
Diane Lariar
I started making mosaics in 2018 after my husband passed away. I found the art to be very creative and enjoyable. I took a few classes and started my own studio. I do shows, have my work in local stores, and have an Etsy site.
Renee Rozaieski
I am a figure artist with works done in graphite, soft pastel, and mixed media centered around the human form. My work features solitary figures, exploring themes of vulnerability, stillness, and emotional connection. More recently, I have turned my focus to drawing trees, entirely from imagination—an intuitive exploration of nature’s form that mirrors my interest in gestural figures. My art also explores unexpected color combinations in both my figurative and nature based works.
