-Talking circle

LOCATION:
"Coyolxauhqui Plaza (outside, near street corner)
There is no specific address to the location, so we did our best to put the closest one. It is outside and it has a blue sign that says "Coyoxauhqui Plaza" and is in front of Plaza Community Services (there are 2 locations of this agency within 1 block, and across the corner from the LA County Public Library - City Terrace Branch). Our meeting place is at a replica of Coyolxauhqui placed on the ground, so it is not often seen by driving by. Free parking is around the area in the free lots or local streets.
The space is not ADA accessible and requires walking over a chain to enter the circle. It does not have access for sitting or chairs and requires standing. The circle takes place outside near the corner of a street. It is key to be prepared for the weather changes.
ABOUT THE CIRCLE:
The Coyolxauhqui Circle has met monthly on or around the full moon since November 2010 and is committed to making safe/brave spaces for (Q)TWOC in circles of health, healing and humanity. Our circle values a womxn's place and space in traditions and teachings and strives to be an accessible space to learn and share. For more information email: [email protected]
Donations to the circle are welcomed and will be asked at the end of the circle, but are not required.
