It's time for November ABQArtwalk! I am excited to open my studio doors to you with special guest artist Harley Kirschner! Join us from 5-9pm in studio #9 at the Mothership Alumni on November 7th. There is a fantastic exhibit in the gallery, and several artist studios will be open as well!
About the artist:
Harley Kirschner is a multidisciplinary artist, primarily working in painting and drawing. Since 2022, his work has focused on themes of place/ lack of place in his series Whose Home? which consists of oil paintings on glass of endangered/ extinct species and laser etchings. His most recent work, Death and Candy, explores themes of his personal experience navigating the chronic illness diabetes (type 2) and its complications. On November 7th, Kirschner will have lots of affordable art including prints of paintings (for the 1st time!), original miniature paintings, laser etchings and copper plate etchings!
We look forward to your attendance!
