Lisa is a Certified Native American Artist specializing in pottery, with a unique focus on pots, which she creates using the traditional Native American method of coiling, using stones for smoothing and shaping the surface.
Most of Lisa’s pots are pit fired and finished using a method referred to as Horse Hair Raku, which is decorating the pottery with the application of horse hair.
Additionally, Lisa does wood carvings and paintings. Durning her showcase she will feature Christmas ornaments made from all three mediums: pottery, wood carvings, and painting.
