Abstract: Balancing Automation and Agility: Scaling Security to Meet Business Demands
This session dives into the critical questions surrounding security automation and orchestration as businesses scale. We’ll explore if scripting alone is sufficient or if deeper integration is essential, weighing the advantages and potential pitfalls of direct API connections to firewalls versus using representations of current states. Additionally, we'll discuss the evolving role of AI in enhancing automated processes and examine whether a fully automated and orchestrated solution is necessary to meet business demands. This session aims to provide actionable insights on balancing automation with practical security needs.
