Novel Sessions

Novel is not a leadership programme.

It is an innovation program designed for leaders in both business and local government, aimed at building, scaling, and empowering the companies that will create wealth and foster growth through innovation in our city region over the next decade.

In 2025 Novel will convene, inspire and enable the next generation of innovation leaders in the city region through a remarkable programme of national and international speakers, investors, entrepreneurs and changemakers. The programme will help business leaders develop and fulfil their visions for innovation and growth within their companies and alongside like-minded peers.

Participants will have the opportunity to join three in-person residential sessions in January, February and March 2025. In addition, we will invite you to nominate your best and emerging talent to join our Peer Network .

At the heart of Novel are those entrepreneurs and SME business leaders who will be central to job creation, business growth, and wealth generation, transforming the capabilities and ambitions of the city region to grow through innovation.

Uniquely, Novel will connect our business leaders with the brightest rising stars and influencers from local and national government. Novel will partner with leaders from the public sector to foster a greater degree of new understanding, insight and partnership to help ensure the UK government makes the best decisions for businesses to deliver growth.
