Objective - You have 3hrs to accumulate as many points as possible. You earn points by completing Laps and Bonus Lines. It’s your choice as to how many Bonus Lines you complete per Lap. The Bonus Line points are added to your Lap points at the completion of each Lap. Lap cards are to be presented to the Marshall at the start of each Bonus Line and you will receive a NEW Lap card for each Lap.
The Last Lap will be issued no later than the 2hr time point. If you reach the Start/Finish after the 2hr point no further Laps will be issued to you, so timing and strategy is crucial. It’s recommended that each Competitor carries their own timer to keep track of the time. If you do get issued a final Lap you have the remainder of the 3hrs Race time to complete the last Lap and as many Bonus Lines as you can. If you don’t get back to the Start/Finish within the 3hrs you forfeit the last Lap points, but you do receive any completed Bonus Track points. All Bonus Lines will be closed at the 3hr mark.
Steering & Brake Check - Drivers must stop at the ‘Tomo’ & ‘Start/Finish’ Steering & Brake check points and do a Steering & Brake check. If you fail the ‘Tomo’ Steering & Brake check, you will be directed to the pits without completing the Lap and forfeit the Lap points. If you fail the ‘Start/Finish’ Steering & Brake check, you will be directed to the pits also, however you will receive the Lap points. In both scenarios you will need to complete another Brake & Steering check at the Start/Finish to receive a NEW Lap card and resume the race.
Fuel - Refueling is to happen only in the refueling area by competitors only. All competitors are to be out of the vehicle and the engine to be switched off before refueling. Please label your fuel tanks for identification. Extra fuel that isn’t going to be used during the 3hr Race period can be stored inside support vehicles in the Pit area. There will be an emergency water pump and fire extinguishers at the refueling site.
On the Track – The Main Loop is marked in Yellow bunting and Road Cone stations, Bonus Lines are marked in Red bunting. Merging vehicles from a Bonus Line must give way to Lap vehicles before rejoining the main circuit. Competitors are expected to stop and give assistance if you’re the first on the scene of an accident. If you are the one that has had an accident and there is no personal injury or danger, then you are obliged to waive other competitors on. If you are involved in a roll-over you must report this to Race HQ for a roll cage inspection. Any accident resulting in injury will cause a suspension of the Race. All competitors must yield to and obey recovery vehicle instructions.
Support Crew - There is to be no unnecessary travel around the property during race hours. There will be no entry into race track areas so crews are limited to the Hub / Pit area.
