Join NVJA, the U.S. Forest Service North River Ranger District, and onX Offroad this fall for a trail restoration project on Union Springs Road in Harrisonburg, VA—part of the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests. This popular off-road trail needs some love, and we’re stepping up to help restore and protect it!We’ll be:
* Installing boulders as vehicle barriers
* Laying erosion control materials
* Planting 300 native seedlings
* Installing signage promoting T.R.E.A.D. Lightly principles
* Cleaning up trash and maintaining the trail
Come out, give back to the trails you love, and help preserve off-road access for future adventurers!
