About this Event

Join Body Freedom for Every(Body) on ELECTION DAY, Tuesday, November 5th, from 3 to 4 PM CST at The Future Front House [1900 E. 12th St, Austin, Texas] for our next TRUCK TALK: “We Keep Us Safe.” This conversation brings together voices on reproductive freedoms and the ways in which we persevere.

TRUCK TALKS are open to the public and will take place in front of the Body Freedom Truck, which features an iconic wrap by artist Barbara Kruger. This wrap presents her powerful 1989 artwork, “Your Body is a Battleground,” first shared at the Women’s March on Washington in support of reproductive freedom.

Body Freedom for Every(Body) champions bodily autonomy, with a specific emphasis on intersecting themes of Reproductive Justice, Queer Liberation, and Trans Joy through contemporary art. Over 100 artists’ visions are represented in this project: the aim is to reinforce community(ies), create safe spaces, and cultivate joy.
