Come knock on doors of voters in Cobb and Cherokee counties for Micheal Garza (GA House D-46) and JD Jordan (GA Senate D-56) in our final Saturday morning canvass as we look to engage voters ahead of the November election in two of the most competitive state legislative races in Georgia. We’ll have lists of persuadable voters as well as lists of strong Democrats depending on your comfort level with knocking on doors.We are meeting in the parking lot of Mzizi Coffee Roaster near Shallowford and Johnson Ferry road, and we will go over instructions and start going door-to-door together in teams of two. You can hear from the candidates and grab a cup of coffee or a pastry from this local business. We are all walking together – and new canvassers are welcome!
Canvassing is the best way to persuade voters to come to the polls for the November general election. No experience is necessary – just bring yourself, some comfortable walking shoes, water, sunscreen, and a fully charged cellphone. We will provide training if needed, a script, and the addresses of targeted voters in the area.
If you can’t canvass, please feel free to come out and say hi to the canvassers and candidates or learn about other ways to volunteer for our campaigns.
