Come along with your baby, toddler or preschool child. Lots of toys to keep children happy & a range of refreshments.
Our breastfeeding support is provided by accredited peer supporters and breastfeeding counsellors. However, we support all parents with all feeding queries without judgement or expectation. You don't need to have a problem either, just come for a cuppa & chill.
Our venue is in Barnstaple town centre and ground floor. Head up Butchers Row past Cafe Nero, turn right into the churchyard past East & West Bakery and you will see our sign. Go through the brown door & we are the right hand door.

- Breastfeeding twins (we have 3 peer supporters who re twin mums!)
- Tandem feeding
- Breastfeeding in pregnancy
- Milk supply worries
- Weight gain issues
- Introducing solids
- Plus much much more!
How are you keeping people safe during the pandemic?
- We are limiting numbers to our drop-in's
- We have vinyl flooring throughout which is steam mopped before every session
- All of our furnishings a wipeable and are cleaned before each session - even our bean bags and cushions are 'outdoor' types, meaning they can be cleaned more easily.
- Toys are cleaned before each session
- We are well ventilated
- Seating is spaced to promote social distancing
- Masks are requested when entering & moving around, although not mandatory
- Attendees are welcome to scan into the track and trace system on entry
- We are asking our staff & volunteers to do a lateral flow test before sessions
If you have a new or continuous cough, a fever and/or loss/change of taste/smell please do not attend our event unless:
At least 6 days have passed since you felt unwell and you've had 2 negative LFTs on consecutive days
Or
At least 10 days have passed since feeling unwell.
Please do not attend our event if you have tested positive for Covid-19 unless 2 negative LFTs on at least days 5 and 6, or 10 days have passed. Keeping staff, volunteers and attendees safe and well is a priority.
