Thank you to our venue host Café Sobar
Café Sobar is a vibrant, alcohol-free café and social space in the heart of Nottingham, run by Char Ogley and her team at the charity Double Impact. It provides a welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy great food, coffee, and conversation, while supporting people in recovery through training and employment opportunities. With its relaxed atmosphere, open layout and friendly team, it’s the perfect setting for our event.
Spotlight Organisation: The Star Trust
We are excited to welcome Steve Hampson and Emma Cozens from The Star Trust, which is an East Midlands-based charity run by local business owners and entrepreneurs. They are passionate about raising vital funds through organising high-impact events that generate over £100,000 annually. This helps numerous charities by providing them with much-needed funding, benefitting those most in need in our community.
The Star Trust will be joining us on the evening to share more about their work. Come and see if you're eligible to apply for funding!
