If you would like to experience Jouvert just meet at the meeting point with PAINT/POWDER/HORNS/WHISTLES and/or a COSTUME! Jouvert is messy so do not bring your best clothes.1) Jouvert is free! However, if you want there are certain mas bands you can roll with for a fee (For Carnival Sunday/Monday.) I will post links to their page when packages get released.

3) Time 06.00am-09.00am (early i know but we do it earlier in the Caribbean.)
4) Location: Sainsbury’s Ladbroke Grove, W10 6HJ
3) There will be steel pans playing, people throwing paint and powder, so get involved.
4) Buy talcum powder prior to reaching Jouvert, as all the shops will have sold out.
5) You can wear anything including COSTUMES be creative.
The word J’Ouvert stems from the French ‘Jour ouvert’ meaning ‘opening of the day’. It is tradition in the Caribbean to launch Carnival just before sunrise, continuing into daybreak.
