About this Event
Fiddle player Danny Meehan talks to Caoimhín Mac Aoidh about extraordinary players from Donegal who were overlooked by most modern collectors of Irish traditional music. Danny will talk about their influences on him and illustrate his own virtuosity through the tunes passed on to him during his youth in the townland of Drumalost, Mountcharles.
The talk will take place in 15 Henrietta Street, Dublin 1 and will start at 8:30pm on Thursday 9th December 2021. Admission is €10 (concession rate €5). For those unable to attend in person, it will also be live streamed through our channel NPU-TV.
