Not your average beginner sourdough classThis is a beginning sourdough class that will tell you the basics of starting, maintaining and baking with your sourdough starter and discard. This class will walk you through the steps from start to finish to bake a loaf. Give you recipes for a loaf, discard pancakes, and discard crackers and answer all your questions about raising sourdough. This class will also include everything but the bread flour that you need from start to finish to feed, grow, and bake your first loaf. New to class, there will also be a hands on portion for you to practice stretch and folds and forming loaves. During this portion, there will also be time for all of your questions because starting a sourdough journey can be daunting.
Class includes:
Three dehydrated sourdough starters ( just in case you lose one)
Glass starter jar
Banetton basket
Bench scraper
Please bring writing materials for taking notes and I can’t wait to help you on this journey.
Cost is $45 please send PM to reserve spot. Sourdough treats will be for sale before and after.
