Not This Blue House, based in Washington, D.C., blends bluesy rock with a soulful singer-songwriter style. Building on her self-described musical origins as a “coffee-shop singer with an acoustic guitar,” Leah Danielle brought in Wade Ingram (lead guitar), Keith Ingram (bass), and Pat Garofalo (drums), to form Not This Blue House and answer an age-old question: What if Joni Mitchell fronted Guns n’ Roses? Since their first full set (as Leah Danielle and the Weight) at Petworth Porchfest in April 2024, the band delivers powerhouse vocals, searing guitars, and hypnotic grooves from a driving rhythm section to bring the heat and heart to every show. The band’s debut album, The 19th Place EP (2025), features their wide-ranging sound—from the punch and grit of “Goodbye” to the wistful sway of “Arcadia.”

Rising musical comedy duo Griefcat emerged in 2019 as the brainchild of Annie Nardolilli and Louisa Hall, two songwriters from Washington, DC whose shared wit and undeniable musical chemistry made their collaboration feel like fate. Now established as modern, genre-hopping troubadours unafraid of sonic experimentation, Griefcat builds on influences from Tenacious D to Dolly Parton and beyond, infusing the result with a healthy dose of campiness and a talent for tongue-in-cheek sociopolitical commentary — a winning combination that has earned them the backing of a diverse and growing fanbase, a standing ovation from Simon Cowell, 100m+ social media views, and critical acclaim from outlets including The Washington Post over a string of releases and electric live gigs to date.

FANFAIRE is a Washington, DC-based folk trio of female multi-instrumentalists and songwriters—Meredith Wallace, Kimberly Harris and Tanya Aranguren—showcasing three-part harmonies in folksongs that range from haunting to contemplative to anthemic. Bonded by strong friendship, the band retreats to Lost River, WV regularly to write and arrange music. They released their full length debut album, Lost River Sessions, in fall of 2025.
