Not Loud Concerts Presents…

Fantasy Waltz Night at the historic Chapel of the Flowers in Berkley, April 25 From 7:00-8:30

Take your carriage (or Bart) to a magical, historical dance space located in Berkeley for a night of waltzes presented by a live chamber orchestra.

The evening begins at 7:00 with a short beginning waltz lesson presented by dance master Colin Williams, followed by the orchestra picking up their bows to present a selection of danceable waltzes. From the Viennese waltzes of Johann Strauss II, to the magical sounds of Disney, to the rollicking waltzes of the frontier, members of the Renegade Orchestra will get your feet moving in 3/4 time.

Come in your ball gowns, fantasy attire or in casual garb, beginners and seasoned dancers are all welcome. The floor is wood, the space is magical and the music is of course, not too loud. Complimentary coffee and cookies will be available.

Located at 3049 Adeline St, very close to the Ashby Bart station and with a private parking lot as well as street parking. 18 and up, children will not be admitted.

What are Not Loud Concerts?

Not Loud Concerts was inspired by numerous jokes on the internet about wanting to go see a concert that was, “Not too loud, not too late, not too long and not too expensive.”

With this idea in mind, Not Loud Concerts was created to showcase music based on the following principles:

• Not too loud
• Comfortable seating
• No hidden fees or crazy ticket prices
• Good parking whenever possible
• Not too long

These concerts are created for the enjoyment of the audience and are not based on old traditions.

What to expect:

At a Not Loud Concert the band will perform for around an hour with no intermission. The concerts will feature outstanding musicians performing in a lightly amplified manner with primarily acoustic instruments. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the show.

Each concert will be audio recorded and emailed to the ticket purchaser about 2 weeks after the show.
