About this Event
School avoidance and chronic absenteeism in conventional schools is a growing issue. The standard response to children not wanting to attend school usually involves increasing levels of rewards and punishments - but is this really addressing the issue? What could we do instead? Dr. Naomi Fisher, clinical psychologist and author, will join us for a discussion of school avoidance and what she has experienced in her work with children as a clinical psychologist and parent. Q&A will follow.
