Not Back to School Day is an annual event for homeschoolers and their families to meet and have fun at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure in California, USA. It is open to any homeschoolers although you must be a member of the Disneyschooling Facebook group. Members of the group are invited to create and run short activities for the kids to join such as quizzes, scavenger hunts, trivia challenges, and any other educational and fun things you can think up. You can create and run one yourself, or ask the group if anyone would like to do one together. More details and guidelines will be published in the group as we get closer to the date. There will also be plenty of time for rides and shows, of course, too!
There is no charge for this event, but you are responsible for purchasing your own tickets and making the reservations. It's important to get a "park hopper" ticket for this day as we do go back and forth between the parks. If you have a Magic Key, reserve the starting park as "Disneyland".
This is NOT a drop off event! You will be with your kids and the group the whole day, or in break off groups for various interests and activities. It's really fun and as social for the parents as it is for the kids.
