About this Event
Join the City of Des Moines Youth Advisory Board for the 2025 Not Another Statistic Summit: a youth-driven event designed to ignite passion for education, create space for meaningful conversations about the barriers to achievement in education, and how to maximize your full potential!
The summit will feature a variety of interactive workshops led by inspiring leaders and educators who share a commitment to empowering youth. It's not just about learning but also about making the youth's voice heard! This is a unique opportunity for youth to provide feedback on their experience in the education system, while learning with their peers how to break down barriers they face and maintain intellectual curiosity.
Food will be provided and local organizations will be tabling with resources throughout the event. Session details coming soon.
