We're back for our 2-day transformative event dedicated to restoring and connecting singles through workshops, empowerment and conversation.
About this Event

MISSION:

Not Another Singles' Conference (NASC) is a 2-day event dedicated to renewing, restoring, and reviving singles through transformative workshops + discussions that inspire personal growth and spiritual enrichment. We aim to provide a safe space for singles to heal from past traumas, address challenges unique to the single experience, and empower them to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives.


DAY 1 - FRIDAY NIGHT MIXER (FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4TH | 7 PM - 10 PM)

Join us Friday for an evening dedicated to fellowship and making meaningful connections before the main conference. Enjoy a speakeasy atmosphere with live performances, delicious mocktails, and unique shopping opportunities. Plus, don't miss our exciting Friend Zone Speed Meet—a fun, no-pressure way to meet new people and potentially form lasting connections. Whether you’re looking for friendship or a deeper connection, this is the perfect way to kick off the weekend!

DAY 2 - CONFERENCE (OCTOBER 5TH| 10 AM - 5 PM) LUNCH PROVIDED

The NASC conference rejuvenates singles with transformative workshops and discussions, inspiring personal growth and spiritual enrichment. It offers a safe space for healing, addressing challenges, and empowering singles to lead fulfilling lives. Prepare for transformation and healing.



Please note that this is a TWO-DAY EVENT: Friday starts at 7 PM and Saturday starts at 10 AM

"Religious Trauma: Church Hurt and Abuse in the Pews"

This workshop addresses emotional and spiritual abuse in religious settings, fostering healing, empowerment, and boundary-setting for attendees.


"Breaking the Silence: Overcoming Sexual Trauma"

Don't miss this workshop which will be offering a safe and supportive space for individuals to address the impacts of sexual trauma. Participants learn coping strategies, engage in healing discussions, and gain empowerment tools to navigate their experiences, fostering a journey toward healing and restoration.


"Navigating Singleness in a Hyperconnected World"

Join us for a candid workshop on navigating singleness in the digital age, where we explore the impact of social media on relationships. Learn strategies for maintaining boundaries, cultivating authentic connections, and fostering personal growth in today's hyperconnected world.


"Healing Generational Wounds + Navigating Parental Relationships as An Adult"

This addresses familial dynamics across generations. Participants explore healing from inherited wounds and navigating adult relationships with parents. Rooted in Christian principles of forgiveness and reconciliation, the workshop offers guided discussions and practical insights to foster understanding and personal growth within family dynamics.


LUNCH

Lunch will be divided into two sections: Lunch A and Lunch B. You can choose which section you'd like to attend.

Concurrently, "Healthy Community (Dialogue) - He Said" and "Healthy Community (Dialogue) - She Said" will feature discussions on fostering a healthy community at separate times during the lunch periods.

"Barbershop Conversations" (Men Only Preferred)

"Before you Wed"

This workshop aims to assist singles and engaged couples in establishing a solid foundation for a lasting, Christ-centered marriage. Delve into essential topics such as communication, financial planning, spiritual harmony, and conflict resolution.


"Rediscovering Me: Thriving as a Single Over 50"

Rediscovering Me: Thriving as a Single Over 50 is a workshop designed to address the unique experiences and challenges faced by individuals who find themselves single later in life. Whether through divorce, the passing of a partner, or a conscious choice for independence, this workshop provides a supportive space to explore topics such as dating, personal growth, and redefining identity.


"Healing to Love Again"

This breakout session will guide you through the journey of healing from past traumas to open your heart to love again. Whether you've experienced heartbreak, loss, or emotional wounds, this session will provide practical tools and spiritual insights to help you release the pain and embrace a future filled with love and hope.


MAIN SESSION - SPECTRUM OF SINGLENESS PANEL

This panel highlights diverse singlehood experiences, featuring divorced singles, those over 50, and single parents. It fosters understanding and solidarity through candid conversations.

WORSHIP + PROPHETIC PRAYER + WORD

At the conference, we will emphasize the importance of worshiping God, giving praise, and thanking Him for His blessings and partnership in His work. Worship expresses our reverence and love for God, acknowledging His greatness and goodness. Through praise and gratitude, we recognize His unwavering support and remind ourselves of our reliance on His strength and wisdom as co-laborers in His divine plan. Additionally, we will listen to a message from a speaker and spend time in prayer.
