The myth of tarantula is still alive today, it releases signs of the past and at the same time reflects the present mainly through the contact among people and the comparison of lifestyles that constantly change over the years. Tarantella is a means of communication which expresses the origin and culture of Italy.
NOSTOS proposes an emotional music-dance performance, interpreting the temperament and passion of Mediterranean.
Starting from the folk music of Southern Italy, which incorporates the Greek-speaking tradition, they praise life and love even when they sound melancholic : tarantellas, nostalgic songs and hymns of love, baroque nuances but also echoes of times of unrest, coming from the past.
