Murnau's Nosferatu.Mood Area 52 is a Pacific Northwest ensemble that performs Americana songs and instrumental compositions. The band features Michael Roderick on guitar, accordion and vocals, Amy Danziger on cello, Billy Barnett on guitar, Julia Frantz on violin, Dan Schmid on bass, and Don Elkington on drums. Mood Area 52 has been contributing to the Oregon art scene for nearly 30 years by collaborating with dance groups like Ballet Fantastique and Dancability, producing 8 studio albums, collaborating with touring artists like Tin Hat Trio, Devotchka, Jason Webley’s Monsters of Accordion, and volunteering for community events in Eugene and Portland.
