Nosferatu
Count Orlok is a Vampire who preys on the wife of his estate agent and brings the plague to their town. He is reclusive and operating from a decrepit Romanian castle. He spreads plagues among villages over the course of centuries, resulting in the deaths and transformations of many, until his undoing during a plague transmission in the distant fictional German town of Wisborg.
Nosferatu was produced by Prana Film and directed by F.W. Murnau. It is an unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula.

Mission Inn Hotel & Spa
The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa began as a quaint adobe boarding house in 1876, becoming a full-service hotel in the early 1900s. Opened by Frank Miller, it expanded in 1903 with over 200 guestrooms and the addition of the Mission Wing, built in Mission-Revival style while incorporating architectural features from more than 20 different California missions. Three more wings materialized as demand grew, including the Cloister, Spanish Wing and the Rotunda Wing, completed in 1931. Miller filled the hotel with valuable items from across the globe, including artwork, furniture and religious relics. Mission Inn still houses the oldest bell in Christendom, dating back to 1247. In 1992 Duane and Kelly Roberts purchased the Mission Inn. The Roberts remain committed to preserving the property’s historic legacy and have made many amazing additions over the years.

The Friends of the Mission Inn inform, educate, and financially support efforts to preserve the art and artifacts that make the Mission Inn unique. We are committed to the preservation of the collections that have made the Mission Inn unique. Fundraising and restoration projects are ongoing. Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been raised and spent on repairing and returning valuable art objects to the Mission Inn's collections.
The Friends are a private/nonprofit philanthropic organization dedicated to preserving and restoring the antiquities of the Mission Inn for posterity.
