About this Event
Please join the Office of Equity and Civil Rights (OECR) and its Economic Inclusion Team (EIT), as they host six in-person regional DBE 101 & 201 trainings, to ensure our internal stakeholders know of current processes and regulations surrounding WSDOT’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program.
Anyone whose internal work involves DBEs, this training is for YOU! The day will be in two sections:
DBE 101 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Spend time learning about the processes and regulations that guide the work in serving underutilized DBE firms. Topics to include:
· Bid clearing and goal setting
· Oversight management
· Prompt payment
· On-site reviews
· Working with a Sovereign Nation, and much more!
DBE 201 | 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
· Time dedicated to specific regional training requests.

You are more than welcome to attend another region’s event if unable to attend your region’s training. PLEASE NOTE: Each region has its own registration – meaning, if you register for one regional training, you will not be registered for all.
