We were pleased to announce that the 2024 Northumberland Aquabike event had been selected to host a British Triathlon Age Group Qualifier for the 2025 World Standard Distance Aquabike Championships.Located within the stunning Druridge Bay Country Parks, on the beautiful Northumbrian coastline. The Northumberland Festival of Sport is a perfect weekend for the all the family.
Weekend Events;
Saturday 7th June 2025:
Junior Triathlons from 1.30pm:
Tristar Start, Tristar 1, Tristar 2, Tristar 3.
Northumberland Open Water Swims from 3.30pm:
750m - 1.5k or 3km Swim Challenges.
Sunday 8th June 2025:
Aquabike, Standard & Sprint Distance.
Aquathlon, Standard & Sprint Distance. Triathlon, Standard & Sprint distance individual & Relay.
Druridge Bay Country Parks is a popular place to cycle, run, swim, walk, paddle, sail, and surf. The Country Park comprises of a café, Visitors centre, outdoor children’s play area, sheltered picnic areas, camping, caravanning and motor home facilities for you to enjoy and relax.
