Northside Roundtable
We are bringing ministry leaders and mental health professionals together for quarterly roundtables to provide church leaders with resources for difficult topics and updates on mental health issues they may see in their teams and congregations.
Join us for a meaningful roundtable event designed for ministry leaders and licensed mental health counselors (LMHC) as we explore the profound topic of grief during the holiday season. This gathering aims to foster a collaborative environment where participants can share insights, strategies, and resources to better support our clients and church communities through their grief.

As the holiday season approaches, many individuals face the complexities of grief, which can be intensified by the festivities that surround them. This roundtable will provide a space for ministry leaders and mental health professionals to discuss the unique challenges that grieving individuals may encounter during this time.
Objectives:
- Understand Grief: Explore the various dimensions of grief and how it manifests during the holidays.
- Share Experiences: Engage in open dialogue about personal experiences and professional practices in supporting those who are grieving.
- Identify Resources: Learn about tools, resources, and strategies that can be utilized to offer comfort and guidance.

Who Should Attend: This roundtable is ideal for ministry leaders, LMHCs, pastoral counselors, and anyone involved in supporting individuals through grief, particularly during the holiday season.
Guest Presenter: MONICA HENGGE
Monica is an owner of ThrivePointe and a licensed counselor. Before entering the counseling field, she worked in both local church and campus ministry helping adults and students navigate life’s challenges and faith. She is driven by a “compassionate curiosity” philosophy and the belief that we are created for connection. Her heart is in equipping therapists, ministry leaders, and teachers to embody God’s love through attachment-based care and discipleship.Monica is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Cincinnati Christian University.
