Our annual challenge charity shield game on Monday 25th August 6.30pm against Dungiven club will be for “The Northlands Addiction Treatment Centre”,nominated by Leo Young President.
I am sure most have heard about The Northlands who have been in existence for 50 years treating people with alcohol, drug & solvent abuse as well as their families.
Stormont this year withdrew their 25/26 funding and they are in badly need of voluntary funding in order to keep the centre open.
We feel this is a worthwhile charity and would ask all members to try and be available for the game on 25th August at 6.30pm.
Match fee will be the usual £5 but feel free to make a larger donation if you wish, it would be most appreciated.
Members of public are also asked to attend as spectators and support the event.
Last year we raised over £600 for Foyle hospice.
Tea and refreshments will be provided after the game.
