Given the strong group interest in hikes I figured let's take advantage of the multiple people by doing a point to point carspot of the Taconic Ridge on the VT/ NY/ MA border. https://www.alltrails.com/explore/trail/us/new-york/taconic-crest-trail-rt-346-to-rt-2
Let's meet 8am at the Crossgates mall park and ride in front of Dicks Sporting goods store. Sidd will organize everyone there in to one car, and then drive to meet me at the southern trailhead. I will leave my car on the southern terminus for hike completion before the group drives to the northern trailhead to start the hike. We'll be hiking uphill for a total of 2,621 ft of elevation gain over the course of 8 miles. This is hiking a ridgeline so we're likely to get intermittent views as we proceed along.
