Northern Parasol's Nightshift #12 | KENNY @ Eagle Inn

Who is the loneliest person in the music industry? The DJ. They sit in a studio, alone, not knowing if anyone is listening, learning or enjoying. Ken knows this too well, and feels it more than anyone. He does the graveyard slot, 3am until 6am, for his local station. He plays the music he loves, for it’s his only company. The hallways of the studio are empty and the coffee machine rarely works, but he does it anyway. ‘It’s 4:31 in the morning dear listeners, if there are any of you out there’ he gently proclaims ‘here’s one for you night owls’. The record spins, Ken sips from his thermos.

Northern Parasol's Nightshift residency is back! We are delighted to be returning to Eagle Inn, without doubt one of the most wonderful grassroots venue's in all of Greater Manchester.

We are very excited to have KENNY as our headliners for this one. They return to Eagle after their previous Nightshift show last October. KENNY are outlaws, with criminally good tunes. They occupy a spot on this astral plane between alt-pop and punk, come see for yourselves, they're not to be missed.

Completing the lineup is two more returning faces; the ethereal sounds of Charlesworth and the electric grooves of Leons Comet.

Northern Parasol's Nightshift residency will take place (nearly) every Wednesday at Eagle Inn, showcasing the best emerging talent Manchester & beyond has to offer. Tickets start at just £5. These shows are not to be missed!
