This will be a low-key, fun day, starting at around 8:30am for set up. At 9am we will have a quick chat about how the day will work and make sure everyone is comfortable with the activities. At this practice / training day, we will rotate between three riding areas.
Area 1 : Obstacle course with approx. 10 different obstacles and a flat work pattern.
Area 2: Mechanical cow practice, as well as building confidence and improving your horses movement.
Area 3: Dummy roping, log dragging and practice drills.
A light brunch will be provided with tea, coffee, cold drinks, cakes / slices (gluten free) and fruit. Please bring a gold coin donation for our Club.
Everyone will be required to help set up and pack up the riding areas, fill in a horse health declaration form, and bring along a bag to take home horse poo, so that we can keep the grounds nice and tidy.
