Join Northeast Wisconsin Paddlers, Inc. (NEWP, Inc.) for their 2025 Annual Meeting at The Tarlton Theatre!
The meeting will begin with an overview of NEWP's 2025 activities, election of NEWP's 2026 officers, and a preview of 2026 activities. NEWP's featured presenter for this year's annual meeting is Steven Baskis.
Specialist Steven Baskis served as an infantryman with the United States Army during the operation Iraqi freedom conflict. It was in May 2008, in the heart of Baghdad, Iraq where Steve sustained life threatening wounds that changed his life forever. Over the past decade, Steve has vigorously pursued his goals, dreams, and passions without falter. Strength, resilience, and courage is central in his message, always reminding listeners that these are essential core values that we all must forge. Steve has accomplished many physical feats with out sight and leads a foundation that creates awareness for the blind and visually impaired community.

The Tarlton Theatre offers complimentary parking at the paved lot located immediately to the west of the theatre at 100 South Chestnut Avenue. Parking spaces marked "The Tarlton Theatre" are reserved for theatre guests only. Free parking is also available on South Broadway, South Chestnut Avenue, and Howard Street, but we caution our guests against parking their vehicles overnight.
