Join us on May 8th for the Northeast Regional Clean Energy and Climatetech Workforce Summit to address critical workforce challenges, foster collaboration, develop actionable strategies to strengthen workforce pipelines, and empower expanded participation in the clean energy transition.
The 2025 Northeast Regional Clean Energy & Climatetech Workforce Summit aims to unite employers, workforce boards, trainers and educators, community-based organizations, and MassCEC workforce grantees to address critical workforce challenges in the region, foster collaboration and partnership between regional stakeholders, develop actionable strategies to strengthen workforce pipelines, and empower the region’s workforce to share in the clean energy transition. The Summit will be centered on three major themes: Strategies to Empower Tomorrow’s Workforce, Addressing Training Capacity Challenges for Climate Critical Occupations, and Opportunities for Cross-Industry Learning and Collaboration.
The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) and GE Vernova Foundation are hosting this event in partnership with Essex North Shore Agricultural and Technical School, Commonwealth Corporation, Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, the MassHire North Shore Workforce Board, MassMEP, and FORGE.

- Facilitate relationship building among workforce networks within the Northeast region of Massachusetts; unite employers, community organizations, and current and prospective MassCEC workforce grantees
- Highlight industry connections between manufacturing and climatetech
- Discuss regional workforce trends, best practices, and opportunities to expand training capacity across the Northeast Region
- Increase awareness of collaboration and funding opportunities
