About this Event
After a 20-year hiatus, JAK Productions, the esteemed producer of the iconic Kwanzaa and Christmas Gift and Craft show, is poised to make a spectacular return to the Capital Region. We are thrilled to unveil a groundbreaking event that promises to deliver an unforgettable shopping experience for all—introducing the 1st Annual Premiere Northeast Black Memorabilia and Collectible Show (BMCS)—a truly unique shopping event, the only one of its kind in the Northeast!
BMCS is set to be an exceptional and meticulously curated collectible show showcasing a diverse range of black history memorabilia from the 1800s to the early 2000s. Shoppers will discover an exciting assortment of artifacts, each with its unique story, including Jim Crow items, Civil Rights memorabilia, art, books, ceramics, tins, posters, dolls, postcards, magazines, and event programs. This promises an enriching shopping experience, celebrating history and culture in a vibrant setting.
We're proud to host this shopping event at 'Likeable Pop-Ups,' a pioneering black-owned venue constructed from recycled shipping containers. This innovative space offers an intimate, gallery-like atmosphere with a unique shopping backdrop for the event. Conveniently located in Albany, the capital of New York, our venue is easily accessible from New York City, Boston, MA, and Hartford, CT.
For dedicated hard-core collectors, we have an exclusive shopping treat. These shoppers will have the unique opportunity to shop for one-of-a-kind pieces from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. before the doors open to the general public. But here's the catch: Only a select group of 10 shoppers will be granted access to this private shopping experience. Tickets for this unique opportunity are available until they sell out.
Don't miss out on this unique shopping opportunity to immerse yourself in history and art—join us at BMCS and make your mark in the world of collectibles!
