The Zoning committee is a sub-committee of the Northeast Area Commisison. The zoning committee receives applications from the BZA for variances and rezoning, Graphics Commission and demolitions.
We receive and review applications with each applicant, making recommendations to the Commission on all applications for rezoning, variances, graphics and other zoning adjustment appeals, and special permits located wholly or partially in the area. We also
review, monitor, and approve all requests for demolitions. The decision of this committee on all such requests is not final until and must be reported to the Commission at the next regularly scheduled meeting. This meeting is open to the public and all are welcome to attend.
