Enrol your child in our free group cooking programs for children with disability aged 6 - 12.Northcott’s Guide to Healthy Chefs includes theory and practical activities run by qualified dietitians.
Your child will:
- Make food suitable for their lunchbox and after school snacks.
- Learn healthy eating principles from the Australian Guide to Healthy Eating (AGHE) about the five food groups.
- Learn the importance of each food group and how to portion and include these into daily meals.
- Develop practical kitchen skills to make well balanced meals using the five food groups and healthy eating principles.
- Receive a 5 star Chef Award after completing the set tasks within the program.
Dates & Locations:
Northcott Campbelltown
Session 1: Monday 08/07/2024, 1:00pm- 3:00pm
Session 2: Tuesday 09/07/2024, 1:00pm- 3:00pm
Participants can register to attend as many sessions as they would like. However spaces are limited, so please register your interest ASAP.
