Northampton Open Media Production Grants support multimedia arts creators in the greater community of Northampton, MA. By easing the financial burden of production we aim to empower people in our region to tell stories and craft experiences that may not otherwise be possible. This grant’s purpose is to achieve a specific objective and enhance an artistic skill and talent of the grantee. 2025 will mark the 12th round of production grants distributed by Northampton Open Media.NOM will endeavor to fund at least one grant for a youth project, meaning an applicant who is 18 years of age or younger, and at least one grant to a self-described BIPOC candidate.
Applications are due by 11:59pm on Sunday, SEPTEMBER 15, 2024
This year NOM is introducing a new aspect to the grant process – LIVE PITCHES.
The live pitch will consist of you presenting your grant idea, in any form you wish, to a live panel of judges from NOM. Show up and talk about your grant and why we should fund it. You can use a presentation if you like. you can sing or dance, or act something out. We will reserve the right to ask you some questions after you are done, to engage in conversation.
